John's memories
The
things that I always remember about Jimmy Ienner,
what stands out the most, are his huge smile and his huge
talent. Of all the great records made through the years,
the ones that stick in my mind are The Rasberries album and
the Eric Carmen album, which is one of my favorite albums
of all time. One of the songs on that album, "All
By Myself," is one of my top five favorite singles of
all time. To listen to any of the great records that
Jimmy has made, they all have a unique sound and a unique
approach towards production. It's what makes great
record producers. Besides the admiration I have for
his talent, I am proud to call him my friend. Something
I will cherish forever.
